Summary

Logex is a workout log. We collect what you enter so the app can store your training and turn it into insights. We do not sell your data, show ads, or track you across other apps and websites, and there are no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs in the app. We do keep our own basic diagnostics and usage analytics (see below) so we can fix problems and improve Logex; you can turn them off.

What we collect

Account: your email address and a password (handled by our authentication provider; we never see your password in plain text).

Training data: workouts, exercises, sets, reps, weights, effort ratings (RPE), timings, routines, custom exercises, favorites, goals and achievements you create.

Profile details you choose to provide. Each one is optional and has a single purpose:

  • Name — Greeting you on the Profile tab. Never shared.
  • Units — Showing weights in lb or kg everywhere in the app.
  • Training goal — Tuning weekly volume ranges, default set targets and rep ranges.
  • Experience — Scaling volume ranges and how quickly plateaus are flagged.
  • Training schedule — Your weekly target, starter splits, rest-day messaging and reminder days.
  • Equipment — Only suggesting exercises you can actually do.
  • Bodyweight — Strength standards, bodyweight ratios and starting-weight estimates.
  • Sex / strength standards — Choosing which published strength-standards table to compare you against. Optional.
  • Focus muscles — Prioritizing these muscles in weekly focus suggestions and routine targets.
  • Workout reminders — Scheduling reminders on this device. Off unless you turn them on.

Diagnostics and usage analytics

Diagnostics: crash, error, sync and performance logs (for example an error name and short message, which screen or sync step failed, and how long something took), plus your app version and platform. We use them to find and fix problems.

Usage analytics: which features are used (for example “a workout was saved”), without the contents of your workouts, notes, names or measurements.

These records are linked to your account and a random per-install ID (not a device identifier). We use them only to operate and improve Logex. We never sell them, show ads, or use them to track you across other apps or websites. They are kept for about 90 days and then deleted.

You can turn diagnostics and usage analytics off separately in Profile → Privacy & data. They are deleted with your account and included in “Export my data”.

Where it is stored

Your data is stored on your device and synced to our cloud database (Supabase) and our sync service so it is backed up and available after reinstalling or on another device. Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS).

Some preferences (such as goals, saved setups, and reminder scheduling) are stored only on your device.

Notifications

Workout reminders are off unless you turn them on. They are scheduled locally on your device — no push server is involved — and you can turn them off in Profile → Notifications or in your device settings.

Your choices

You can view and edit every profile detail in Profile, remove optional details at any time, turn off reminders, and turn off diagnostics and usage analytics in Profile → Privacy & data.

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from Profile → Privacy & data → Delete account. Deletion removes your data from our servers and from this device and cannot be undone.

Children

Logex is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date below and show the new version in the app.
